The main goal of this ministry is to ensure that those called to the five-fold ministry stay fresh and empowered by the Spirit of God for equipping and shepherding the flock they were assigned to oversee by Him. Our joy is to see each minister of the gospel of the kingdom encouraged and strengthened for not just their ministerial work but also their own personal race so that they may finish their course with joy!
We had previously helped Cave Adullam with the first iteration of their Ministers Rest website. However, after a while, a lot of changes took place where we ended up using an improved version of that design for Cave Adullam’s own website. Following these changes, we went back to the drawing board looking for those key traits found in mandate resting on Cave Adullam for ministers of the gospel.
We wanted something very immersive, that threw you right into a different world that communicated all the themes of Ministers Rest. To do this, we knew that to make the website as immersive as possible, we were going fullscreen with this. The next step was deciding what exactly this immersive experience would communicate.
The main picture that comes to mind when we thought of Ministers Rest is one where ministers of the gospel are brought away from the hostile world filled with demands, responsibilities, weights and burdens to a serene environment where refreshment, refueling and more are found. Several words came to mind like an oasis, a resort, the shores of a beach and so on. Eventually, we settled with something somewhere between Cave Adullam and these pictures that came when we thought about Ministers Rest.
This is one of the first mockups we drafted when we put all these elements together.
We took this simple design, changed a few things and began polishing it with even more designs until we were satisfied with the final design we have now.
We are really excited not only about this first iteration, but also about the further imminent future revisions and updates to the site!
